Step 3: Configure Token Claims ​

  1. Go to App registrations: In the Entra ID admin center, navigate to Identity > Applications > App registrations.

  2. Select your React app: Choose the app registration for your React application.

  3. Go to Token configuration: In the left menu, select Token configuration.

  4. Add optional claims: Click Add optional claim.

  5. Select claim type: Choose Access, for claims used by your backend API to authorize access.

  6. Select source: Choose Directory schema extension.

  7. Select attributes: Select the account_level, account_id and account_billing_id attributes you created.

  8. Add: Click Add to save the configuration.
